Tiger Shroff is now the co-owner of an MMA team
The Super Fighting League has added yet another celebrity owner to their ranks in the form of Bollywood Action Star, Tiger Shroff.
Tiger Shroff, star of A Flying Jatt, has always shown immense passion for Mixed Martial Arts and now he has taken his strong interest a step further!
The 26 year old actor is now, aptly, the co-owner of the Bengaluru Tigers, a team in the Super Fight League (SFL) which began on January 20th.
“So excited to be associated with Super Fight League and the Bengaluru Tigers. As a martial artist myself I share the same passion as these fighters and will do my best to help make a difference in the SFL world. Go Tigers.”
He is not the first celebrity to take a financial interest in MMA teams. Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Salim & Sulaiman and Randeep Hooda co-owning Mumbai Maniacs, Delhi Heroes, UP Nawabs and Haryana Sultans teams, respectively.
Bill Dosanjh, the SFL’s Principle and founder and CEO had this to say:
“It is with great pride that I welcome Tiger to the Super Fight League. I have always believed Indian MMA needs an innovative and experimental format to bring the fans to the stadiums and in front of television.”
